It's all about the finish
Lately, we have produced quite a few jobs where the finishing has played a bigger part than usual. So we thought we'd write a few words about finishing, how important it is and how it can be used to create a greater impact.
Whatever the job, its finish should always be considered at the very beginning. It may be the bit that comes last but it's what the consumer sees first! So it's important.
Any finish should be appropriate and fitting to the job, i.e. what suits it best. Plus more importantly, what will add the most value to the consumer experience. Recently, we've foil blocked party invites and Christmas cards to give them a bit of sparkle, embossed folders and de-bossed business cards to make them stand out. We've laminated the covers of children's storybooks to make them more robust and last longer. We've even encapsulated teachers swimming learning aids to make them waterproof when being used at the poolside.
There are endless finishes to think about. Consider what's best at the very beginning, it could be the one thing that makes the biggest impression.
